ALGERIA
A nice cover from Algeria with three stamps highlighting the dates of Algeria. These stamps were issued on 8Oct2013 and a complete set has four stamps showing Ghars, Deglet Nour, Delga Beida and Akerbuch varieties of dates, however the sender used three stamps which was enough postage for Pakistan.
A date is the fruit of a date palm. The dates are sweet and delicious, it can be eaten fresh or in a dried form, the dried dates can be stored and consumed all year round. Dates contain numerous essential nutrients which are beneficial for human health.
